These are a few digital illustrations I did for a series of short stories called "The Figments" by Patrick Gaughan. They're pretty awesome stories, and a little bit on the darker side, so you should definitely give them a read!
...Or if you're so lazy that you can't read a few pages, you can watch this video of Patrick's reading of one of the stories when he was on trial at Fabrica.

Awesome! I don't think I've seen these kind of illustrations from you before, I hope you do more! :)
I like the shadow motif throughout each one. My favorite one is the boy in the pirate ship shadow.
Also, did you use just digital? These look like they were a mix of digital and paint.

They're completely digital...I just uploaded much higher resolution versions of them.
By the way, I just read the Figments stories. Patrick Gaughan sure can write! I love them. They're haunting, deep, and vivid in imagery.
